South Central District Place in 2015 Pa. State Elks Hoop Shoot Finals
On March 7th,
2015 at State College High School in State College, Pa. six South Central District youths competed in their age group in the
2015 Pennsylvania State Elks Hoop Shoot Championship. Caidence Brock, daughter of Desiree & Darren Brock of Columbia, Pa., placed 4th in the 8-9 yr. old girls division shooting
18 out of 25 foul shots & 3 for 5 in a shoot out. Louie Shank, son of Wendy & Jamey Shank of Carlisle, Pa. placed 4th in the 8-9 year old boys division shooting 19 out of 25 foul shots.

of Taylor & Eric Stoner of Mercersburg placed 4th in the 10-11 year old girls division shooting 12 out of 25. Joshua Hiles, son of Kimberly & Joel Hiles of Boiling Springs placed 4th in the 10-11 boys division shooting 18 out
of 25 & 3 out of 5 in a shoot out. Megan List, daughter of Audrey & Kevin Stoner of Fayetteville placed 7th in the 12-13 year old girls division shooting 13 out of 25 foul
shots. Trevor
Seitz, son of Heather
& Justin Seitz of York, Pa. shot 16 out of 25 to capture 8th place in the 12-13 year old boys division. Louie Shank & Joshua Hiles represented the
Carlise Elks Lodge # 578, MacKenzie Stoner & Megan List represented the Chambersburg Elks Lodge # 600, & Caidence
Brock & Trevor Seitz represented the Columbia / Middletown Elks Lodge # 1074 & the South Central District at Pa. State
Hoop Championships.
South Central District place 4th
overall with 96 points in the overall District competition.

Location is Voni Grimes Gym (old YJC on
125 E College Avenue, York, PA)
Doors open at 4:00 PM and competition starts
at 4:30 PM. Opening ceremonies will be at 4:20 PM.
There will be food at the York Lodge at the conclusion of the event.
